II YouthProAktiv General Assembly – 27th September 2017

YouthProAktiv held its second General Assembly in Brussels on the 27th September 2017.

During the meeting YouthProAktiv and national member organizations approved the plan of activities for 2018 that will have an special focus on personal development, social entrepreneurship, life long learning, women leadership and coaching for youth workers.

The coalition was introduced to different international opportunities and initiatives such us the Goalkeepers movement, the European Vocational Skills Week, the European Life Long Learning Week and the European Youth Event and the World Youth Forum where YouthProAktiv have already different speaking engagements.

Very important points of the agenda were the final approval of the European Youth Declaration on Social Entrepreneurship and the European Youth Declaration on Work Life Balance that will be presented to the EP and the EC by the beginning of 2018.

Celebrating the YouthProAktiv nomination to the Forbes 30 under30 European and Spanish lists, member organizations where also introducing their grassroots initiatives such us ChangeMakersOn or Grandmas for football.

YouthProAktiv is an international organization that aims to create a generation of proactive individuals ready to invest their talents for the betterment of society by starting their own business and creating jobs for themselves and the others.

We are a coalition of young people promoting a culture of pro-activity and entrepreneurship in education and policy. We train young people, young leaders and youth workers to become leaders of tomorrow capable of creating jobs for themselves and others. We advocate for entrepreneurship-friendly policies at national and international level to achieve a decent employment for all and a resource-free sustainable development.

YouthProAktiv has been nominated this year to the 2017 Forbes lists of 30under30 due to its influence in policy and law on the promotion of employability and skills of young people.

YouthProAktiv is an international and expanding network of more than 25 organizations from more than 17 different countries. Our General Assemblies are designed to bring us all together in order to better discuss our youth priorities and strategies.
