Fostering a better match between offer and demand, European Commission has created the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition as a clear action within the New Skills Agenda for Europe. This coalition is a multi-stakeholder partnership aiming to take action to tackle the lack of digital skills in Europe.

As part of the initiatives within the coalition, the digital opportunity scheme has been created.
